REFLECTION XVII.
There comes a time and quickly too
When hearts shall be disclosed;
When they who live if living true,
Shall only be transposed;
Transported then shall Christians be,
O God! O God! O pardon me!
When hearts shall be disclosed;
When they who live if living true,
Shall only be transposed;
Transported then shall Christians be,
O God! O God! O pardon me!
My words must fail, my tongue must cease,
My hand alas! grows cold,
O let thy spirit give me peace,
Before my days are told;
O come to me! O come! O come!
O give me comfort! be my home!
My hand alas! grows cold,
O let thy spirit give me peace,
Before my days are told;
O come to me! O come! O come!
O give me comfort! be my home!

Thou art alone the only joy
For sorrows earth has many,
God is true love without alloy,
But perfect are not any;
Whoever loves religious voice,
Will be most perfect in his choice.
For sorrows earth has many,
God is true love without alloy,
But perfect are not any;
Whoever loves religious voice,
Will be most perfect in his choice.
