THE KEY.

The key of Love, by virtuous hand,
Preserv'd with due regard,
Will keep the heart in safe command,
In lock of strongest ward.
The key of Love, is Virtue's self,
The lock the human heart,
The riches stor'd, no sordid pelf,
No mass of pride or art.
The mind is wealth, preserv'd by Love:
Ah! go Sir to thy store!
Unlock thy heart, and so improve,
Affection more and more.—
