I-n the lap of northern snows;
D-esarts gloomy, cold, and drear,
(O-nly let the nymph be there)
W-reaths of budding sweets would wear.

A-ll the vernal bloom of spring:
D-ryads, deck'd with myrtles green,
D-ancing, would attend their Queen:
E-very flower that nature spreads,
R-ising where the charmer treads!
