[Four shillings in the pound we see]

Four shillings in the pound we see,
And well may rest contented,
Since war—Bob swore 't should never be—
Is happily prevented.
But he, now absolute become,
May plunder every penny;
Then blame him not for taking some,
But thank for leaving any.
