In the joyful hope of the resurrection of the flesh;
A virgin of surpassing beauty,
No charm was wanting to compleat her mind,
No ornament her body;
The fire of love she stir'd in ev'ry breast:
Yet to herself was all this worth unknown.
Folded at last within the arms of him
She most desir'd,
Nature she joyfully repaid,
And,
Pleasing sunk to rest.
