Queen of Concord, Queen of peace!

Why seeks the gentle bird of love,The shelter'd Stream, the whisp'ring Grove?
Why pours the Nightingale her tune,
To the pale blushes of the Moon?
It is that night and concord join,
To make the peaceful Scene divine.
And then the tuneful, am'rous bird,
Is by its faithful Partner heard;
