Some , by the bending reed's slow aid,May boast th' unwary fish betray'd:
Others may finny shoals beset,
And sweep 'em, with the treach'rous net.

But, why shou'd Sylvia use deceit,Who is, herself, her own best bait?
Step but, undress'd, within the brook,
And smile at every needless hook.
III
Each willing fish will, round thee, swim,Gladder to catch thee, than thou him.
Or, if one fish, uncaught, goes by
That fish, is wiser, far, than I!
