wherof, ther is a good Document set-fourth and taught, in Ryme.
O yee Youngones/haue a good regarde vnto these Sentences/and take the Instruction of those-same effectually to Heart. Enterprise not/nor-yet take;in any-wyse; vpon you, to reade many or great Bookes, er-euer yee haue well exercised you in the A. B. C./and can perfectly spell all Woordes/to an apt Sentence.
Enterprise not also to be a Maister or Teacher, er-euer yee haue obedientlie accomplished your Uocation or Callinge, in the Discipline of your Maister.
But first-of-all take-heede rightly in your Heartes, vnto the good Documentes of this Crosse-rowe or A. B. C. Letters. and in so doinge, growe-vpp therin/till vnto the Olde-age of the manlye Understanding of Iesu Christ: and so becom repleanished with the godlie Wysdome.

to the Loue/that she in you may haue plantinge.

to the meekmynded Beeinge of Bounteousnesse.

the right Humilitie, to you it doth expresse.

Earnestly
sett your Lust to the good Lyfe, so cleare.

Fasten
therin your Heart/so shall yee not feare.

Geeue-eare
to the Trueth/so lyue yee vnmolest.

Holy
and wyse is Hee, that standeth Therto prest:

Heauen nor on Earth/none other Rest yee finde.

Keepe
and turne therto, all your Heart/Lust/and Minde.

not such thinges byde-back, for any Frinde therfore.

therto apply you/and hunt for no thinge more.
