Rang the Yeer of Christ 943, fra the begining of the Kingdome 1273, and Rang 9 Yeers.
A prince whose Virtue, famous made his Facts,
His Territors, he but a stroake extends:
All Bands with Danes, h' abolishes and bracks,
And Englishmen, of Foes, he made his Friends:
So Fortone flows, her Gloab, so rolling goes,
That now, new Friends, prove now, anone, new foes.
