Bvilt-up on this foundation, 'tis the scope
Of saving Faith's next coosen-german, Hope,
With patient longings to expect that blisse
Whereof, the former present earnest is.
Faith (in some sort) already Christ injoy's;
Hopes object are those consummated joyes.
Fides intuetur verbum rei, spes autem rem verbi.
