[Therewith afrayd I ran away]
Therewith afrayd I ran away:But he that earst seem'd to play,
a shaft in earnest snatched:
And hit me running in the heele;
For then, I litle smart did feele,
but soone the sore increased:
And now it ranckleth more and more,
And inwardly it festreth sore,
ne wot I how to cease it.
