NO DEEPER, NO MORE FEARFUL CURSE
No deeper, no more fearful curse can beEntail'd on man than a too tender heart
A heart alive to all the witchery
Of love and song, yet destined to a part
In life's great Drama which, Oh God! will sever
His dearest wishes and his duties ever.
