TABOR AND ABBOTT.
The Opera House—a union grand
Of capital and labor—
Long will the stately structure stand,
A monument to Tabor.
Of capital and labor—
Long will the stately structure stand,
A monument to Tabor.
And as to Emma, never will
Our citizens cease lovin' her,
While time lasts shall her name be linked
With that of the ex-Governor.
Our citizens cease lovin' her,
While time lasts shall her name be linked
With that of the ex-Governor.
Because of its grand Opera House,
Our city's much elated,
And happy is the time that Em
The structure dedicated.
Our city's much elated,
And happy is the time that Em
The structure dedicated.
For many a year and many a year
Our folks will have the habit
Of lauding that illustrious pair
Tabor and Emma Abbot.
Our folks will have the habit
Of lauding that illustrious pair
Tabor and Emma Abbot.
