A PARAPHRASE.
Jehovah is my Shepherd! He will feedMy little Florence in her hour of need:
He maketh her sweet soul, in Heaven's high noon,
Beside the Living Waters, to lie down:
He will restore her soul when it is faint,
And never suffer her to be in want:
For he will raise her from the grave beneath,
And lead her safely through the Vale of Death;
And comfort her, if she should feel distress,
And smile forever on her loveliness.
