ON A FRIEND.
Kind friend why dost thou look so sad?
What may thy troubles be?
Oh dost thou fear some one will take
The one so kind to thee?
What may thy troubles be?
Oh dost thou fear some one will take
The one so kind to thee?
She is a fair and charming one
She dazzles every eye,
It is enough to make thee weep,
Enough to make thee sigh.
She dazzles every eye,
It is enough to make thee weep,
Enough to make thee sigh.
