RESIGNATION
The following resolution was adopted by the Board:
RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia
that the resignation of Dr. Archibald Anderson Hill, Professor of the English Language,
be and it is hereby accepted as of the end of the first semester of the session of 1953-54. He
has accepted a position on the faculty of Georgetown University. We wish for him the highest
success in his new undertaking.
