—IV.—
And Whereas, in pursuance and by virtue of authority
contained in and implied from the resolutions of which the
foregoing is a copy and subject to the conditions and reservations
contained therein, and for the purpose of effectually
carrying out the objects and purposes thereof, the said Rector
has caused the form of this deed and indenture to be prepared;
and at a meeting of the said Rector and Visitors held
at the University on the 6th day of October 1906 at which a
majority of the said Board was present; the said form was submitted
to them and was by them in all respects ratified and
approved, and the said Rector directed, in accordance with the
resolutions of the said Rector and Visitors hereinbefore set
forth, to execute the same and the bonds therein provided for.
