ESTABLISHMENT OF THE THOMAS JEFFERSON PROFESSORSHIP IN THE COLLEGE AND GRADUATE SCHOOL OF ARTS AND SCIENCES

  • The following resolution was adopted:
  • RESOLVED that there is hereby established in Arts and Sciences a Chair to be known as the Thomas Jefferson Professorship in the College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. The Board is grateful to Ruth Robinson Smith, James Beverly Robinson, George C. Seward, William R. Piper and Fitzgerald and Company who made the establishment of this Chair possible.
