ACTIONS RELATING TO CHAIRHOLDERS

• The following resolution was adopted:
  RESOLVED that the actions relating to chairholders be and they are hereby approved as shown below:

• (a) Elections of Chairholders

• Mr. David L. Clark as William Clay Parrish, Jr., Professor of Education, effective September 1, 1986.
• Mr. Cary L. Cooper as Landmark Communications, Incorporated Professor of Business Administration, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1986.
• Mr. Charles P. Emerson, Jr., as Commonwealth Professor of Biology, effective September 1, 1986.
• Mr. Yacov Y. Haimes as Lawrence R. Quarles Professor of Engineering and Applied Science, assigned to the Department of Systems Engineering, effective June 1, 1987.
• Dr. Neal F. Kassell as Distinguished Professor of Neurosurgery, effective April 1, 1986.
• Mr. Jerome J. McGann as Commonwealth Professor of English, effective January 16, 1987.
• Mr. Donald L. Shaw as Brown-Forman Professor of Spanish, effective January 16, 1986.
