The following resolution was adopted:

  • RESOLVED that the following faculty members be and they are hereby granted leave of absence:
  • Dr. Bruce Bateman, Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, for the period January 1, 1984 through April 30, 1984, to study in Saudi Arabia.
  • Mr. Mario A. Blanco, Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering, School of Engineering and Applied Science, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1983, to teach graduate courses at Northeastern University.
  • Mrs. Melinda Blauvelt, Assistant Professor of Studio Art, for one academic year, effective September 1, 1983, for personal reasons.
  • Mr. O. Whitfield Broome, Jr., Associate Professor of Commerce, for one year, effective July 1, 1983, to serve as Executive Director of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts.
