The President announced the following appointments:

  • Miss Ruth K. Angress as Chairman, Department of German, for two academic years, effective September 1, 1974.
  • Mr. M. Howard Bryant as Associate Dean of the School of Continuing Education, for one year, effective July 1, 1974.
  • Mr. Avery Catlin as Executive Vice-President, for five years, effective July 1, 1974.
  • Mr. Edwin E. Floyd as Acting Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, effective July 1, 1974, through August 31, 1974.
  • Mr. George G. Grattan, IV, as Special Counsel to the President, effective July 1, 1974
  • Mr. T. Graham Hereford as Chairman, Division of Humanities, School of Engineering and Applied Science, for three academic years, effective September 1, 1974.
