5. Stewart's Active and Moral Powers.

7. Butler's Analogy and Sermons.

Books required on Political Economy: Say's Political Economy.
J. S. Mill's Political Economy, latest edition.

Three lectures each week are given to the class in Mental
Philosophy, and two lectures each week to the class on Political
Economy.
