THE PUBLIC DAY.
On the closing day of the session, which, unless that day be
Sunday, occurs on the 29th of June, the Visitors, Faculty,
Officers and Students, and the Society of Alumni, assemble in
the Public Hall, whither are also invited the friends of the
students and the public generally. On this occasion, the results
of the examinations are announced, the certificates and diplomas
are awarded to the successful candidates, and addresses are delivered
by the Bachelors and Masters of Arts.
