Abbreviations
This Catalog carries the names of living alumni in three classifications. Detailed information
will be found in the Alphabetical List. This gives full name, years matriculated,
degrees and department, address, degrees from other institutions, and occupation.
Heretofore this data has appeared in the Class List. The change was made after careful
thought and for what appeared to be excellent reasons. The Class List carries name
only. The Geographical List by states and cities therein has a single letter following
each name to indicate a profession, if any. These single letters are the same as shown
for Departments for non-graduates.
