Some say, "Send the Negro to Africa, the
land of his fathers." But the white man is fast
getting about as much control of Africa as he
has of the South. And such advisers forget, too,
in speaking of our "fathers' land," that, while

Africa is the land of our mothers, the fathers of
about a million and a half of us are to be found
in the South among the blue-blooded Anglo-Saxons.
