Letters Policy
Editorial policy is ultimately the responsibility of the
Editor-In-Chief with immediate responsibility resting with the Editor.
Opinions expressed in letters and columns are not necessarily those of
The Cavalier Daily.
The Cavalier Daily welcomes letters from all members of th
University community. Letters should be limited to 300 words, typed
and double-paced. Letters should be addressed to the Editor-In-Chief
in care of The Cavalier Daily, Newcomb Hall.
The Cavalier Daily reserves the right to edit letters and to reject
those that are too long, anonymous, libelous, in poor taste or are based
on obvious factual errors. In order to verify contributions, each author
is asked to include his full name, address, telephone number and school.
Anyone interested in writing about an area of particular knowledge
or interest should discuss the possibility of a colloquium with the
Editor-In-Chief.
