marg.  Marginalia, notes printed in margins of
Smith's works. 
repr.  Reprinted. 
sig.  Signature, a letter or mark at the bottom of
each gathering (folded sheet) in a book. In the
absence of printed page numbers, reference is
made instead to the signature, the order of the
leaf in the gathering, and the side of the leaf.
E.g., AIr[ecto] and AIv[erso] for the front and
back of the first page in signature A; A2r for
the front of the second, etc.
