    many copies), B — G in fours, H in six. Folded plate in nine compartments at end
    (though the Grenville copy in the B.L. has all nine cut apart and pasted on inserts

    in the text [shelf mark G 7195]). The plate appears in two states with minor differences,
    and the headpiece of sig. A3r appears in two forms (for the details, see Joseph
    Sabin et al., eds., A Dictionary of Books Relating to America, XX [New York, 1927–
    1928], 260). In some copies, p. 15 is mispaged 13, while mispaging of p. 34 as 36 is
    more common. [NOTE: See the abbreviated version published by Samuel Purchas
    in Pilgrimes (1625), II, 1361–1370, reprinted as Fragment J, below.]
