Psalm XCVI.

1

Sing to the Lord, O all the earth,
A psalm, or song most new:
O bless his name from day to day,
And his salvation shew.

2

Among the heathen let his works,
And wonders all be heard:
For he is great above all Gods,
And greatly to be fear'd.

3

Their Gods are Idols; but the Lord
Did make the heavens high:
Within his house all beauty dwells,
With power and majesty.

4

Give to the Lord, ye nations all,
All glory, power, and fame:

155

Give to the Lord the glory due
To his most holy name.

5

With offerings come into his courts,
And in his temple fair,
Let all the earth before him come,
And give him worship there.

6

Let Heathens know the Lord is king,
And rules the world aright:
And all men shall most righteously
Be judged in his sight.

7

Let heaven triumph, and earth be glad,
And seas lift up their voice:
The field, and all that is therein,
With every tree rejoyce.

8

Before the Lord: for see, he comes,
He comes the earth to try:
And judge the people of the world
With truth and equity.
