ON READING AN ELEGY WRITTEN BY HER ON THE SEARCH OF HAPPINESS.
To seek the lovely nymph you sing,
I've wander'd many a weary mile,
From grove to grove, from spring to spring;
If here or there she deign'd to smile.

For sure it hap'd in evil hour;
