Otia Sacra Optima Fides | ||
Il vero monte Testaccio.
GOLGOTHA
Memento mori, or a Deaths-head wornUpon a finger, oft becomes a scorn;
For what through use familiar is grown,
Nature counts less by apprehension.
Yet be advis'd, this Mount of dead mens skuls,
A greater dread and terror on thee puls,
Who durst by Sins, and loose desires below,
Make him again pay that which thou didst ow.
