SPLENDOUR.

LOBELIA.

She stood 'mid the dazzling insignia of Wealth;
But the jewels, that shone o'er her beauty and bloom,
Were less fair than the sunny ray smiling by stealth,
Through the rose-teinted damask, that curtained the room.
