To Mrs A. S. on the Death of her Two first Children.

Your Fair Cheeks with Tears sprinkled shew
Like Roses Pearled o're with Dew.
But be not so Discomforted:
Your Babes Departed are not Dead.
To keep them from all casuall Harmes,
Their Saviour takes them in His Armes.
These Olive-Branches, by His care,
In Paradise Transplanted are.
So they become, by their Decease,
A Garland to the Prince of Peace.
