Song 82. Vex no more thy self and me

Vex no more thy self and me
With demure philosophie;
Hollow precepts, onely fit
To amuse the busie wit;
Teach me brisk Lyeus rites;
Teach me Venus blithe delights;
Jove loves water, give me wine;
That my soul ere I resigne
May this cure of sorrow have;
There's no drinking in the grave.
