[Come shepheards weedes, become your masters minde]

[Musidorus.]
Come shepheards weedes, become your masters minde:
Yeld outward shew, what inward chance he tryes:
Nor be abasht, since such a guest you finde,
Whose strongest hope in your weake comfort lyes.
Come shepheards weedes, attend my woefull cryes:
Disuse your selves from sweete Menalcas voice:
For other be those tunes which sorrow tyes,
From those cleere notes which freely may rejoyce.
Then power out plaint, and in one word say this:
Helples his plaint, who spoyles himselfe of blisse.
