Satisfactory Condition

Hospital Administrator William Lamm told
the Cavalier Daily that both men were resting
and in satisfactory condition Saturday night.
He reported that the incident involved a
Richmond "motorcycle gang" called the
Confederate Angels and a group of local black
men from North Garden.

Mr. Stuart, suffering form a gunshot wound
in the abdomen, rested in bed as he described
the incident. "It wasn't anything racial or
anything like that," he explained. When asked
whether action would be taken by the
"Angels" he declined to comment, and added,
"the less publicity the better."
