Medical Chair
Also announced following last weeks
meeting was the recipient to one of the two
Cheatham chairs established last April by the
Board of Visitors.
Thomas H. Hunter who is as vice
president for medical affairs at the University
next July to return to full time teaching and
research, will become Owen R. Cheatham
Professor of Science at the University.
The Board of Visitors also announced the
gifts and grants given to the University which
totaled well over $3 million.
