Composed of John Solum on the flute, Melvin Kaplan on the oboe, Charles Russo playing the clarinet, Morris Newman with the bassoon, Ralph Froelich on the French horn, and guest artist Harriet Wingreen playing the piano, the Festival Winds will anchor the Fine Arts Festival with their performance in Old Cabell Hall Auditorium tonight at 8:15. They are a permanent group that specializes in rarely-heard masterpieces of the woodwind.
