This evening at 8:30 in University Hall, the Artists Series will open with The National Ballet, who will perform four ballets, the first of which is Les Sylphides. Les Sylphides, in one act, has no story to tell, for it is composed of a group of short piano pieces by Chopin. Les Sylphides will be followed by the very light, and almost comical, Tango Chikane. The last two ballets of the evening will be Le Combat, a story of the crusades, and Raymonda, a storyless, classical ballet.
