CANCELLATION OF ELECTION AND OF APPOINTMENT OF MR. GEORGE E. BOYD
The following resolution was adopted:
- RESOLVED by The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia that the election of Mr. George E. Boyd as Professor of Chemistry, for three years, effective 1 February 1966, as approved by the Board on 11 December 1965, be and it is hereby cancelled.
- The President also announced that the appointment of Mr. George E. Boyd as a Member of the Center for Advanced Studies, for three years, effective 1 February 1966, has been cancelled.
