Canidia, or the Witches | ||
Frank Rablais solid Works took not very well,
But the Fops hugg'd his Garagantua and Pantagruel.
A Bawble pleases Fools, with a Bell,
The same is done with a Bubble and a Shell.
They that won't stir for a grave Tragick Dance,
Will cut Capers, and Fly at a light Comick Romance.
When sound Notions no Friends can make,
Try, if Burlesque or Droll won't take,
If not, Boy a Quart of Canary in the Mitre Score,
I'le trust Witch or Devil no more.
