Epigram. LXXIX. Volucre ferrum.

Iron long time hid in our mother earth,
And now brought forth by an vnhappy birth,
VVhat hauocke hath it made since of our liues,
By rapyers poyniards, daggers, swords, and kniues
Yet more to hasten on our destinie,
VVe make it wings, and teach it how to flie.
