FOR ------
I have a thousand messengers to bearWhat I have written over land and sea,
But one is chiefly favoured. He shall wear
A richer dress, and shall my herald be
Unto the court of Love to plead for me.
Go swiftly forth, my little messenger,
And seek my love, for she will harbour thee;
And ask her why we are not as we were,
When in our early years I gained that pledge from her.
