Upon LOVE.

An Epigram.

And pine and languish for her soft Embrace?
Since, when she's granted what we're fond to take,
We slight her Favours, and the Nymph forsake.

And still content with the Remains we find;
Else we are Fools to covet such a Prize,
Which, when obtain'd, we lessen and despise.
