Sitting, reading, ever spinning,
Knitting, kneading, never linning,
Painting, progging, ever doing,
Fainting, cogging, ever woing

For knacks, as Girdles, Ribbons, Lace,
Striving at Feasts for the best place,
Yet still at hatred, spited, loathed,
As unto Lust, and Hell betrothed;
Well may it be if truely Bernard sweares,
That Devils sway thy eyes, and stop thy eares.
