RAPTURE.

Fair sea, bright sunshine, bird of song divine,
I, too, may lose the tide, the light, the lay;
Others may win the kisses that were mine,
My night may be their day,
Yet though the soul may sigh
For precious things gone by,
I shall have had my rapture, come what may.
