RESOLUTION NAMING THE GOODWIN BRIDGE

Before the Rector presented the resolution, he read into the record a short resolution adopted by the Board at Carr's Hill on February 5, 2004 – a resolution which reflected the results (tabulated officially on February 4,th) of a telephone poll of the Board conducted by the Secretary.

RESOLVED, that the pedestrian bridge over Emmet Street, now under construction near the intersection of Massie Road and Emmet Street, be named in honor of Alice T. and William H. Goodwin, Jr. The bridge is to be known as the Goodwin Bridge.
