Epig. 63. Of Amphilocus fore-sight.

31

Amphilocus with cleere fore-sight descries
Future events; and of strange wonders tells:
That Councell-close which in Gods Bozomelies,
He can disclose by most almighty Spells,
Yet he, bewitcht himselfe, could not fore-see
That he should (as he is) a Cuckold bee.
