[Loue hath forlorne mee]

Loue hath forlorne mee, liuing in thrale,
oh cruell speeding, fraught with galle,
my sheperds pipe will sound no deale,
my weathers bell, ringes dolfull knell,
my curtall Dogge that wont to haue plai'd,
plaies not at all, but seemes afrai'd,
my sighes so deepe
procures to weepe,
with howling, noyse, to see my dolfull plight,
how sighes resound,
through harcklesse ground,
like â thousand vanquish'd men, in bloody fight,
