PROMOTION
The following resolution was adopted by the Board:
RESOLVED by the Board of Visitors of The Rector and Visitors of the University of Virginia
that Miss Margaret Tyson be and she is hereby promoted from Assistant Professor of Nursing to
Acting Associate Professor of Nursing as of September 1, 1956, at an annual salary of $5,200,
plus the $500 which the acting chairman receives.
